An Easy Process
At Bellamy Building Company, we aim to make our services as straightforward as possible. We reply promptly to all messages regarding our customers requesting an estimate. Furthermore, we are always contactable via email, text or phone.
After the first contact, our professionals endeavour to meet with customers as soon as possible and discuss your requirements. Often, our customers will have a vision that we can work from. However, if you need some help, we can take measurements and give you an idea of costs before any commitment to plans.
A Quick Response
We aim to get estimates back to you within a week. If we are not too busy, we can get them back to you by the next day.
Our estimates are very detailed and easy to understand. It will list all the work involved in building your extension. If you haven’t got any plans but would like us to arrange the next steps after the estimate, we can contact our architect to arrange a draw up of the plans.
Afterwards, the architect will submit the plans for planning permission if required and building regulation approval. Once the plans are returned from Building Control, we then inspect our estimate and see if the plans are the same as our initial conversation. We will then alter the estimate accordingly.
What Happens Next?
On accepting our estimate for the work, we send you the contract along with a payment schedule and deposit details. Our payment schedule outlines the amount to be paid during certain times within the build.
We will normally ask for a payment as we start the damp course level, the completion of building the walls and completion of the roof. Depending on the size of extension, there may be between four and eight payment stages. Most payments will coincide with an inspection from Building Control.
Once we receive your deposit and the signed payment schedule, you will be placed in our job list. This is done in date order.
